An Inspirational Journey

The journey of life is very complicated, very mysterious and truly magical. We all came to this world thru the miracle of life and we all have to succumb to death, which is also one of life's mysterious stages. The beginning maybe the most happiest and the ending is the most sorrowful part, but the journey in the middle is the most fulfilling and can be very inspiring to all the people that we touched and encountered in our walk thru this life. It's not important how many riches or achievements we gather throughout our stay in this transient world but the inspiration and lessons that we have imparted to people we have interacted and lived with.

Like the inspiration that Francis M left to many of us filipinos and also people from other nations.His life really has touched so many lives and the way he lived it, have somewhat gave meaning and hope to so many people. His music will always be remembered for its truest showcasing of our society's reality. A true patriot who strive to bring about change in our country thru the music that he create. A musical genius who never fear to break thru the basics and introduce something new. A real fighter who have fought his battle with utmost positivity and optimism. During his ordeal, he didnt loose hope and still managed to smile and be happy, which is very hard for a person who is stricken with a serious illness. His fighting spirit and his attitude towards his battle with leukemia is an inspiration to many people who are also in the same situation, that no illness should hinder us to continue with our passion up to the very end. I may not be a die hard Francis M fan, but his life and music has been an inspiration to me. I am with him in his crusades and ideals for our country, to have societal equality and to have sustainable peace. His patriotism is truly an inspiration for us to act and make the changes we want to happen. His music will always live on and will be eternal, long until its purpose is served, to achive what he always dreamed of "ONE LOVE". May his positive outlook in life and great courage in facing life's difficulties be an inspiration to many people that life is not about what we have acquired, but what others have acquired from us. Not how many possesions we can show but how many people was able to possess because of the help we have done for them. And that, its not important how we end up a battle but how we fought it.

Farewell to you Francis M, an ARTIST, a PHOTOJOURNALIST, a MUSICIAN, an INSPIRATION. Your inspiration will live on forever and the lives you've touched and have inspired will be proofs to that. God Bless your journey to meet our creator.

Positivity and Optimism

Life as they say is a journey…a journey full of challenges, mishaps and problems, and it is a fact because there is no perfect life. Pains, heartbreaks and disappointments are always there to challenge our stability and resiliency, and oftentimes people succumb to these challenges and remain in status-quo. They are afraid to take on new challenges for they are afraid to suffer the same fate. They dont want to venture into new prospects because they might end up with the same results. But how can we possibly know if what awaits us will be the same as the former if we will remain in status-quo. Life should always be dealt with positivity and optimism, for life doesn’t end when we loose one time. Every opportunity is always an opportunity to counter the results of the past, and turn it into a better present or futue it might be. There will always be threat of loosing, because there will always be an opportunity to win. Isn’t it more fullfilling to loose one time and win after, rather than having nothing to loose and at the same time nothing to win at all. It just takes great faith and belief in oneself, for life is a walk of faith. Accept the past with no regret, deal with the present with great courage, and look forward to the future with the promise of success.

Choices

Everyday we make decisions, every hour we are bound to make choices, and we can all conclude that LIFE really is like a big market of everything to choose from. Decision making always poised us to choose, whether it is aggreable to many people (the society that is) or just on ourselves. It may be hard to balance something that is widely popular to what you believe in, but that’s the challenge of decision making, having to prove that what you have choosen is what’s best for you. Sometimes it may abruptly show the results of our choices, but sometimes it also takes time before we can see what’s its effects. Nonetheless everything we choose, should be what our heart says, consolidated with logical thingking. Although heart and mind doesn’t always syncs, it is always better to consider both.
In our life we are only given one choice per situation, there are no such thing as neurtal zone, we should always choose which one, left or right, one or two, etc. What really matter is that when we came up with a decision and we are ready to make our choice,and it has gone thru deep contemplation and reverence, so that in the end, whatever the outcome may be, we can always say “I may not have the concurrency of anybody, but still I did a great choice”, and that is vindication. Having proved that even though you have made a “silly” or un-popular choice according to the society, you proved to have made the better CHOICE…
